Hackable Squishy Goodness

This doesn't happen every day... I find two cool products that are both hackable and or programable!! One of the is even from the fine folks at LEGO!

First there's the Chumby! It's a completely programmable wifi enable touchscreen. Oh, the possibilties!

Lego, in partnership with MIT has created a new product that is part robot and part art project. It's the PicoCricket, which is essentially a collection of sensor parts, motors and a smart brick similar the other great Lego product, Mindstorms! This product really looks like a great way to get people into programming/robotics without the need to love something that looks like a Mech or R2D2. The fact that this is compatible WITH the rest of the Lego system.. well... he he what could be better. I just hope my son doesn't notice one of his stuffed animals is missing for a few days....
