TXBOX now available at Saturn!

They never had video games at car delearships when I was a kid! At least not that I remember. I have again thank the managment and staff at Saturn of Kalamazoo for their brilliant addition to the kids sitting section: the XBOX. Thomas and I spent and enjoyable few hours playing Spiderman, while my Saturn had its innards removed and repaired. To all that have ridden in the car Aaron Dykstra has dubbed "Peaches", you will be happy to know the annoying high pitched whine is now gone! (Idler Pulley). Also, I had my right rear brake light repaired as well for those keeping track. Again brilliant Saturn, I never realized how much a simple XBOX could make a otherwise painful experience not so bad.Posted by Hello

Go KWings!

Thomas and I went to our first KWings Hockey game yesterday. Thomas had a great time and easily feel under hockey's magical spell. Being this far North, it was about time we started to aclimate ourselves better and this meant hockey! The Dykstra's were kind enough to plan the outing for the day which included various stop including a relaxing stay at Barnes and Noble followed by dinner at Bilbo's pizza. Posted by Hello

Brilliant!

I've completed my latest woodworking project: a Guinness Pub Sign. It's a gift for my brother and HIS latest project! :) Enjoy the pictures. The project was a simple one: modify cut in the shape of a certain famous pint. Add a few coats of a dark chocolately brown topped with a creamy cream head followed by a solid color heat transfer piece of plastic for the logo with a little touch up here and there... and voila! Really a simple project but I have to admit the solid color t-shirt iron on paper I used in my HP Deskjet printer really amazed me. The only difficult part was getting the printed image and the paint to match. :)
